Grants & fundingHelp With The Cost.
Grant for landlords. Eligible residential landlords can claim 75% of the cost of buying and installing charge points, up to £500 per socket and up to 200 sockets a year. GOV.UK says the grant is funded until 31 March 2027, though the government can change or end it.
The grant must be approved before installation starts, the work has to be done by an OZEV-approved installer, and the approved installer submits the claim to OZEV after the installation. REX is an OZEV-authorised installer.
The larger infrastructure grant has closed. The separate grant of up to £30,000 towards wiring and groundwork closed on 31 March 2026.
Grants for residents. If you own or rent a flat, you can apply for up to £500 towards one charge point socket, with written permission from the landlord or freeholder.
Funded charging. Some blocks may qualify for partner-funded or revenue-share charging. It depends on the site and a partner assessment. Ask us and we will explain what applies to your building.
