A new-build block of 54 flats. REX installed two post-mounted 7 kW chargers in the resident car park, with the full electrical work and a payment system set up for the client.
Headgate is a new apartment block in Colchester, home to 54 flats. Residents needed a way to charge an electric car at their own parking bays.
The chargers had to sit neatly in the car park of a brand-new brick scheme: nothing fixed to the building, and no cables running across the bays.

What we installed
Two post-mounted smart chargers.
Black free-standing posts with Easee One 7 kW chargers, set along the front of the building beside the parking bays.
Each charger sits on its own post, so nothing is drilled into the new brickwork. The posts keep the charge points close to the bays and the cabling out of sight.
How we did it
Cabling, electrical work and payment set-up.
REX handled the whole job: the cabling, the full electrical installation, the posts and chargers, and the payment system.
The payment system was set up for the client, so residents pay for the electricity they use at the chargers.
